YUVAJANA SAKHYAM / YOUTH LEAGUE

The Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam was organized with a view that all the young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ as their saviour and Lord, and bear witness to His saving power. The Chembur unit of the Sakhyam is active and engaged in various parish activities since inception and follows the four-fold programme of worship, study, witness and service.

Among the various activities are (a) leading in English Holy Communion during the 3rd Sunday of each month (b) regular convening for Bible Study & Praise and Worship (c) Cottage Prayer Fellowships at members’ residences etc.

Besides this, Sakhyam members wholeheartedly engage themselves in various other parish activities and events. All these enable the Sakhyam members to assume various other roles as they grow up.

Chembur Yuvajana Sakhyam is actively engaged with various Diocese and Centre-level activities and competitions and have brought laurels to the parish from time to time.
