The Chembur Choir consists of a budding group of vocalists from all age groups, eager to use their talents for the Lord. Anyone interested in singing with the choir is always welcome and need only show up for practice! Choir practice for the Sunday Morning services are often held on the preceding Saturday evening or early on Sunday morning. Choir members also serve the congregation at events such as weddings, funerals, and festivals like Easter, Christmas and Harvest festival.
Every Christmas season, the parish choir performs on Carol Service – an evening of Christmas hymns and carols to showcase all the pieces prepared by the choir with dedicated effort over many weeks, starting around August. Each year, we try to push ourselves with new and varied songs from a spectrum of influences. We not only bond with each other in this fellowship but also enjoy finding new ways to worship the Lord through song.
